SSC currently functions as a subordinate office of DOPT and is mainly engaged in conducting competitive exams for recruitment to various posts in the SSC departments, organizations. In the previous years, SSC has conducted various exams as given below

SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (SSC CHSL)

SI (Central Police Organization)

 SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)

Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts. SSC will select and recommend candidates for Assistants / Clerks posts through a computer-based test, descriptive paper, and skill test, or typing test.

TIER-1 PAPER MODULE- the English section was the easiest of all. The reasoning section was easy but a bit lengthy. The difficulty level of the Quantitative Aptitude section was easy to moderate.

TIER-2 PAPER MODULE- it is not tough to score decent marks in this paper. You just need to start practicing reading and writing essays and letters. 

Typing test compulsory for Chsl Yes, typing test is compulsory for all CHSl jobs.
